Chelsea Vs Manchester United Best Combined XI

The best XI made up of Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford stars.

Goalkeeper – David de Gea (Man United)

Spaniard has had an excellent season this term and edges out the ever reliable Cech.

Left-Back – Patrice Evra (Man United)

Frenchman gets the nod more due to Ashley Cole’s average displays than on his own merit.

Centre-Back – Gary Cahill (Chelsea)

England man has been in fine form this term, forming a solid pairing with John Terry.

Centre-Back – John Terry (Chelsea)

And the Blues veteran also gets into our combined XI, the ever present Stamford Bridge star’s career re-ignited by Jose Mourinho’s return.

Right-Back – Branislav Ivanovic (Chelsea)

Much like Evra, Ivanovic gets in as he’s been more dependable than Chris Smalling or Rafael.

Central Midfield – Nemanja Matic (Chelsea)

Serbian will be an excellent addition to Mourinho’s side and warrants a spot straight into our XI.

Attacking Central Midfield – Oscar (Chelsea)

Bar his penchant for diving the Brazilian has been mightily impressive this season, forcing Juan Mata to consider his Chelsea future in the process.

Left Wing – Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

By some distance the more effective attacker in Chelsea’s armoury this term.

Right Wing – Adnan Januzaj (Man United)

Exciting teenager gets into our combined XI off the back of some stunning displays.

Supporting Striker – Wayne Rooney (Man United)

Scoring goals and providing assists on a regular basis and perhaps the first name on this combined XI team-sheet.

Striker – Robin Van Persie (Man United)

Yes he’s struggled with injuries but the Dutchman has still scored ten goals in all competitions, comfortably more than Fernando Torres, Samuel Eto’o and Demba Ba.
