Arsenal are set to meet with representatives of Juventus forward Mirko Vucinic today according to respected Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio.

The North London club are seemingly keen to strengthen their attack and have already had one meeting with Vucinic’s agent and could be ready to make an offer for the 30 year old Montenegro international.
With Nicklas Bendtner and Theo Walcott both sidelined there is certainly a need to bring in further striking options to boost Arsene Wenger’s squad as they seek to keep up their push for major honours.
Vucinic may well be a player Wenger sees as a short term solution and as such may be looking to bring in the former AS Roma man on a short term deal, which may not appeal to Juventus, who could be looking to cash-in on the striker given the fact that he is now a back-up option following the signing last summer of both Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente.
Mirko Vucinic finished 2012/13 as joint top scorer but has made only four Serie A starts this season.
