Arsenal star watches reserve team.
Arsenal star Lukas Podolski spent his free time yesterday watching the club’s reserve team in action.
The German sported a baseball cap and was all smiles while he watched the youngsters in action.
Podolski, who played 18 minutes in the 2-0 win over Fulham on Saturday as he continued his comeback from a lengthy injury, will be hoping for more game-time at the North London club in the coming weeks.
After returning to action with a goal in the 3-1 win over West Ham on Boxing Day, the 28-year-old started the victory over Cardiff City on New Year’s Day but was left out until Fulham’s visit.
With Theo Walcott ruled out for the season and Arsene Wenger showing no signs of opening his chequebook for a new striker this month, Podolski will be hoping for less time watching football and more time playing in the second half of this season.
