Spaniards are desperate to lure the winger back home this month.
La Liga outfit Atletico de Madrid are prepared to offer Premier League champions Manchester United first option on both prolific front man Diego Costa and left-back Filipe Luis if the Red Devils pull out of the race to sign out-of-favour Chelsea wide man Juan Mata in the January transfer window, according to reports in the Daily Telegraph.

United are already said to be in advanced negotiations with the west London club regarding the sale of their brilliant Spain international, with a deal expected to be concluded within the next 48 hours, subject to Mata himself personally telling Blues head coach Jose Mourinho that he wants to leave Stamford Bridge for Old Trafford this month.
However, there has now emerged one potential stumbling block to the big-money deal taking place, and that is the continued interest of Atletico, whose own manager Diego Simeone is also desperate to lure the 25-year-old to the Vincente Calderon before the winter transfer window slams shut for business for the season once again at the end of the month as Atleto go in search of the La Liga title.
And the Argentinian is even prepared to offer Moyes first refusal on both Spain international striker Costa and Brazilian left-back Filipe Luis in return for United ending their own interest in Mata.
