Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool Player Ratings: Daniel Sturridge & Victor Moses Put In Top Performances

The Reds ease to a 2-0 win past Bournemouth…

The Australian keeper didn’t have too much work to do, and was composed and commanding in his area. He will definitely lose his place for the Merseyside derby next weekend, however.

Kelly was solid defensively, but rarely provided much of an attacking impetus up the right flank, as the injured Glen Johnson often does.

The French left-back did nothing to suggest Liverpool will eventually sign him on a permanent deal. Average. And that’s a compliment.

Got his head stapled back together after receiving a knock, and despite being criticised by commentators for his constant shirt pulling, actually played pretty well.

The Ivorian veteran was fine, but he definitely wasn’t at his best. The sooner Agger or Sakho return from injury, the better.

Looked like Gerrard in 2005. ‘Hard as nails’, and got forward and assisted the attacking player too. Tackles and passes galore. Top stuff.

Not very good. The Brazilian always tries to make things happen, but today, it just didn’t happen for him.

Easily, easily his best game in a Liverpool shirt. Provided a consistent attacking option up the right flank.

Didn’t score (which is unlike him) but caused Bournemouth problems the whole game. Set up chances for his teammate Sturridge regularly.

“If I look and see Sturridge is free, I’ll always look to play the ball to him.” A quote from Luis Suarez. And he wasn’t lying. The way the pair combine, is at times; scintillating, and he scored the goals which finished the game off, too.
