The teenage forward is currently enjoying a loan spell at Sassuolo but is now a target for White Hart Lane boss Tim Sherwood, who is keen to strengthen his attack.
With summer signings Erik Lamela and Roberto Soldado struggling for goals and Jermain Defoe on his way to Toronto FC there is certainly scope for a fresh striking option.
Spurs are in contact with Juventus in relation to a permanent move for Berardi, who has scored 11 goals in 15 Serie A appearances for minnows Sassuolo, with a £15m price-tag on the 19 year old’s head.
Sherwood may look to use midfielder Etienne Capoue as a part exchange option in any move for Berardi.
Domenico Berardi sparked growing interest in his services following his four goal haul against AC Milan earlier this month and may well feel his chances of a prominent role at parent club Juventus are limited given the signings of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente last summer.
