Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers is ready to make a move for the £25m rated German international if his Merseyside club manages to secure a top four finish this season.
Clearly the level of players the Merseyside club could challenge for with Champions League football secured will be high and Rodgers may well see Kroos as a long term replacement for veteran skipper Steven Gerrard.
Kroos has 18 months to run on his current Allianz Arena contract and negotiations to extend his deal with the Bundesliga giants are ongoing, with Man United said to also be keen on the attack minded midfielder.
Kroos has represented Bayern Munich since the age of 16 and is a regular in Pep Guardiola’s starting eleven, this despite a great deal of competition for places at the Allianz Arena side so one wonders if the 24 year old would even be considering a move away from the Bavarian club.
Kroos has made 181 appearances for Bayern Munich and has scored 21 goals and is a regular in Joachim Low’s German national team set-up and has 41 caps to his name.
