Martin Skrtel v Romelu Lukaku
The visitors’ muscular and all-powerful Belgium international has again been in eye-catching form up front in this campaign while spending a season-long loan spell at Goodison Park, with the 20-year-old having so far managed to register a highly impressive nine goals and six assists in total in just his 20 Premier League outings for the Toffees.
But marking him at Anfield on Tuesday evening will be Liverpool’s most in-form and consistent centre back of the whole season and a man who will not shirk the daunting challenge if trying to keep Lukaku quiet.
The Slovakia international and the rest of his back four though will know that they will have to do better than on the three previous occasions they have come up against Lukaku in the league, with the front man having netted four goals.
