Toni Kroos (Bayern Munich)

The highly rated midfielder has been heavily linked with the Premier League champions in recent days, with Bayern Munich head coach Pep Guardiola even admitting earlier this week that the Bundesliga champions could even be willing to let the Germany international leave the Allianz Arena.

And if that were to be the case, then the United manager should try and move heaven and earth in order to lure the 24-year-old from Bavaria to to the north west, as Kroos is exactly the type of player that the Premier League champions are in desperate need of at present.

Paul Pogba (Juventus)

The Premier League champions’ midfield has been badly short of ideas, invention and creativity in the first half of the season, with Moyes desperate to add some inspiration to the centre of the park, with the name of the brilliant Juventus playmaker said to be high on the Scot’s wish list of potential transfer targets for the January transfer window.

And the Red Devils have been given some hope in their efforts to land the exciting France international after the Old Lady of Italian Football recently admitted that the 20-year-old could be available to purchase if they were to receive an offer they could not refuse for their star man.

Eliaquim Mangala (FC Porto)

Central defence is an area of the team that Moyes has identified as being in need of some urgent reinforcements in the January transfer window, especially given the current injury doubts surrounding both first-choice centre-backs Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand.

The Scot has reportedly already made up his mind that neither the Englishman or the Serb have a future at Old Trafford, and he now wants to bring in defensive reinforcements as quickly as possible.

And as a result, Moyes wants to lure the in-demand France international to the Theatre of Dreams in the January transfer window, although he knows he will face stiff competition from city rivals Manchester City in the race to land the £38m-rated centre back.

Arturo Vidal (Juventus)

The Red Devils would be like a new team were they able to sign the Serie A champions’ coveted Chile international in this month’s transfer window.

The skilful 26-year-old midfielder is one of the most impressive players in his position in the world at present, and without doubt the finest playmaker in the Italian top flight.

And in a market where money talks, Moyes knows that a huge big-money offer for Vidal in January would just be too much for Juve to resist.

Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund)

The blond-haired Germany international has been one of Borussia Dortmund’s standout performers over the course of the past few years, with a bucket load of goals and assists from his position up front under Jurken Klopp.

However, the Premier League champions have been closely monitoring the 24-year-old’s progress as a result f late, with boss David Moyes known to be a huge fan of the forwards.

And despite Reus being contracted to the Bundesliga outfit until June 2017, United are still said to be confident that were they to meet the value of his buyout clause in his contract, then the player would be theirs.
