Simon Mignolet – 7
Had little to do but when needed he pulled off a few solid stops, including a quality save from a Mikel Arteta frer-kick.
Aly Cissokho – 8
Solid at the back and a real threat going forward, perhaps loaned in wide-man’s best performance in a Liverpool shirt.
Martin Skrtel – 9
Rock Solid at the back and two goals to set Liverpool on their way.
Kolo Toure – 7
Occasionally lost the ball but no massive errors for a change.
John Flanagan – 8
Youngster has a fantastic game. Nullified the Arsenal threat and at times played in superb first time passes.
Jordan Henderson – 7
Had a decent game though did miss a clear-cut chance in the second half.
Philippe Coutinho – 9
Mercurial Brazilian was a key performer in the final third, some superb runs and delightful distribution.
Steven Gerrard – 8
Captain rarely put a foot wrong but his copy-book was blighted by silly foul that handed Arsenal a spot-kick.
Raheem Sterling – 9
A constant threat, the youngster could easily have had a hat-trick.
Luis Suarez – 8
Full of running, played a part in Liverpool’s dismantling of the Arsenal back four without getting on the score-sheet. Hit the post with a goal of the season contender.
Daniel Sturridge – 8
Calmly slotted home the fourth and his pace and ability to hold up the ball caused Arsenal’s centre-backs endless headaches.

Came out to close down the game and did just that.
