10) Atletico Madrid’s Diego Costa to Chelsea – Daily Star

Chelsea are desperate to bring in a world-class striker during the summer, and the 25-year-old hitman could be the most likely option. Already this season, he’s bagged 20 goals in La Liga.

9) Manchester City’s Gareth Barry to Arsenal – Mirror

The ageing English midfielder has performed above expectations in the Premier League for Everton this season, and he will be surplus to requirements when he returns to Manchester City in the summer. Arsenal could do with an experienced head in the centre of the park to add depth to the squad, and Barry could be a cheap option.

8) Borussia Monchengladbach’s Marc-Andre ter Stegen to Barcelona – Daily Mail

Barcelona need a new keeper in the summer, as long-standing no.1 Victor Valdes is leaving when his contract expires at the end of the season. Ter Stegen has emerged as the favourite to replace the legendary Spaniard.

7) Borussia Dortmund’s Ilkay Gundogan to Manchester United – Manchester Evening News

The German international midfielder has been crocked for the majority of this season, but proved his world-class calibre for last season’s Champions League finalists in the first half of 2013. United are desperate for midfield reinforcements, and could break the bank to bring in the uber-talented 23-year-old.

6) Chelsea’s Ashley Cole to Liverpool – The Metro

The veteran left-back’s contract expires at the end of the season, and it doesn’t look like Chelsea will renew his deal as he can’t currently get in the side behind impressive Spaniard Cesar Azpilicueta. Liverpool badly need a left-back with Jose Enrique perpetually injured, and could be happy to meet Cole’s large wage demands.

5) Liverpool’s Luis Suarez to Real Madrid – The Metro

The brilliant Uruguayan striker has been the best player in the Premier League this season, scoring 23 goals already and assisting eight more. He’s good enough to play for one of the world’s best clubs, and we reckon Real Madrid could break the bank for his services – whether Liverpool qualify for the Champions League or not.

4) Porto’s Eliaquim Mangala to Manchester City – Daily Mail

City tried to sign the young French defender in January, but missed out on his services due to time constraints. With Joleon Lescott leaving at the end of the season, they need a top notch partner for club captain Vincent Kompany, and Mangala fits the bill perfectly.

3) Juventus’s Mirko Vucinic to Tottenham – Mirror

Vucinic is not needed at Juventus, and could arrive at Spurs when his contract expires at the end of the season. The Montenegrin is very talented, and would can either play wide or up top. He would strengthen Spurs’ thin forward line considerably.

2) Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus to Manchester United – Mirror

Reus is incredibly talented, and will no doubt want to switch clubs in the summer if his club fail to qualify for the Champions League. United want to lay down a marker with more top level signings, and Reus could be on the marquee summer moves. He’s scored eight in the Bundesliga already this term.

1) Manchester United’s Nemanja Vidic to Inter Milan – Sky Sports

Vidic has confirmed that he’s leaving United at the end of the season when his contract expires, and the Italian giants are heavy favourites for his signature, and are prepared to meet his large wage demands since their billionaire buy out.
