The Costa Rica international has been earning rave reviews of late in Spain after a fine campaign between the sticks for his club side, so much so that it is not just Reds head coach Brendan Rodgers who is believed to be interested in signing Navas this summer.

In fact, the likes of Bundesliga sides Borussia Monchengladbach and Stuttgart are also both said to be keen on the highly rated shot stopper, who has a contract with Levante that runs until June 30 2015.

And it is also understood that Atletico de Madrid may also make a move for the 27-year-old should Chelsea opt to recall on-loan keeper Thibaut Courtois from the Vincente Calderon this summer.

However, it is Sevilla’s interest that will most worry the Merseyside giants, especially because the Spaniards may try and tempt Levante to offload Navas to them by including Senegalese striker Papa Babacar Diawara, who is currently on loan with the Liga minnows, as part of the deal.
