GK: Petr Cech

The experienced Czech Republic international has once again enjoyed yet another steady campaign in between the sticks for the Blues, with the shot stopper showing no signs as yet of losing any form in goal.

RB: Branislav Ivanovic

The powerful Serbian has been rock solid at the back for the west Londoners, especially in the last few weeks, and he will be expected to help bomb forward down the home side’s right flank as often as possible against the Toffees this weekend.

LB: Cesar Azpilicueta

The reliable and error-free Spain international is still, to many people’s general surprise, keeping England veteran Ashley Cole on the substitutes’ bench in the capital, and that also looks like being the case once again on Saturday lunch time.

CB: John Terry

The west London club’s long-time skipper is set to return to the starting lineup against the Merseysiders this weekend after missing out through injury in Chelsea’s previous outing, their 1-0 loss to rivals Manchester City at Eastlands in the FA Cup.

CB: Gary Cahill

The Blues expect the England international to pass a late fitness test to take his usual place alongside Terry at the heart of the back four when Roberto Martinez’s high-flying outfit come to town on Saturday.

CM: Nemanja Matic

What an impact the Serbia international has had in the short space of time since the holding midfielder returned to the club from Benfica in the January transfer window, with already the £21m purchase one of the first names down on Chelsea head coach Jose Mourinho’s team sheet.

CM: Ramires

The hard-working and hard-running box-to-box midfielder is an absolutely vital member of the Chelsea starting lineup and whichever position that his manager asks him to fill, the Brazil international always does it with great skill and aplomb.

AM: Oscar

The twinkle-toed Brazilian playmaker is just a joy to watch at times and there is no doubt that Mourinho will recall his star man against the Merseysiders having dropped the attacker to the subs’ bench for last weekend’s FA Cup fifth-round loss to City.

FW: Eden Hazard

There can be few, if ant, other players who are on the same brilliant level as the Belgium international is currently at for the west Londoners, with the young attacker virtually unplayable at times coming in from the right flank.

ST: Fernando Torres

It is a toss up really between the Spaniard and team-mate Samuel Eto’o, however, Mou will probably opt for the former Liverpool striker in the end in the belief that coming face to face with the Merseysiders at the Bridge may inspire the misfiring front man.

FW: Willian

Another little attacking schemer that Everton are going to have to keep a close eye out for in west London on Saturday lunch time if the Brazil international’s brilliant displays on the right flank of late are anything to go by.
