Argentinian used to play for the Parisians.
Highly rated young Southampton head coach Mauricio Pochettino has claimed that he would relish the chance to take over at his former club Paris Saint-Germain at some point, according to reports in the Daily Express.
The Argentinian has done a wonderful job at St Mary’s since replacing previous manager Nigel Adkins in the hot seat at the south coast club last year.
However, when asked whether he would be interested in becoming the next boss of the Ligue 1 champions, he told Beln Sports: “Why not? I liked coaching Espanyol where I was also a player. So yes, I’d have the opportunity to lead one day Paris.
“I enjoyed a lot my spell there and I had the chance to be captain of the team. I spent three wonderful years.
“I always look at the results of the club and their evolution. They are at the height of the other top teams in Europe and I hope they will win the Champions League this season.”
