10) Yaya Toure (Manchester City): 13/69 goals – 19%

The giant Ivory Coast international is surprisingly the mega-rich Premier League outfit’s second highest goalscorer in the Premier League so far with 13 strikes, reflecting just what an impressive campaign the player is having at Eastlands, with the marauding playmaker having netted an incredible 19 per cent of all of his side’s top-flight strikes to date. 

9) Sergio Aguero (Manchester City): 15/69 goals: 22%

The diminutive Argentinian goal machine may have endured an injury-ravaged campaign so far, with Kun’s season having been badly interrupted by both knee and hamstring injuries that have restricted his number of Premier League appearances, although the red-hot marksman has nonetheless managed to net an impressive 15 times out of a team total of 69 in the time he has been on the pitch. 

8) Eden Hazard (Chelsea): 12/52 goals: 23%

Incredibly, the Belgium international is the west London club’s leading scorer in the Premier League to date, which is perhaps more a reflection on the dearth of quality strikers that the Blues currently possess, although that still means that the magical wide man has been responsible for 23% of all of his team’s strikes in the top flight in this campaign. 

7) Olivier Giroud (Arsenal): 12/52 goals: 23%

The Frenchman has been a revelation up front for the Gunners in the Premier League in what is the striker’s second campaign in  English football, with Giroud’s 12 top-flight strikes to date out of a team total of 52 by the north Londoners representing a mammoth 23% of all of the strikes netted by Arsene Wenger’s men in the league so far. 

6) Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool): 18/73 goals: 25%

The prolific England international is currently on fire up front for the Merseyside giants, with the attacker having just managed to hit the target in eight straight Premier League games following his return from an ankle injury in January prior to Saturday’s 3-0 win over Southampton at St Mary’s, while the -player has scored an impressive 18 times in total to date in the league for Brendan Rodgers’s high-flying outfit, which is a quarter of all the Reds’ top-flight goals. 

5) Romelu Lukaku (Everton): 10/38 goals: 26%

The powerful Belgium attacker only just returned from an ankle injury in the Toffees’ 1-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon, with the 20-year-old marking his return to the side by grabbing the home team’s late winner for what was his 10th goal in the top flight so far in this campaign, meaning the on-loan Chelsea marksman has now scored 26% of all of the Merseysiders’ league strikes this season. 

4) Jay Rodriguez (Southampton): 10/38 goals: 26%

The Saints’ newly capped England international is currently enjoying a wonderful season in front of goal for the south coast club under the astute management of Mauricio Pochettino, which is reflected in the youngster having scored ten of his side’s overall haul of 38 goals in the Premier League. 

3) Robin van Persie (Manchester United): 11/43 goals: 26%

The Premier League champions may have struggled badly for both form and confidence so far this season under new manager David Moyes, however, they would be in a far more perilous position were it not for the contribution of their Netherlands forward and his 11 league strikes, which is over a quarter of all the Red Devils’ top-flight strikes to date. 

2) Luis Suarez (Liverpool): 24/73 goals: 33%

No real surprise to find the name of the Uruguay international featuring so high up in this top 10 list, especially as the Premier League’s top scorer has managed to register 24 of his side’s total of 73 goals in the top flight to date, which works out at 33% of all the Reds’ league strikes so far, and even then the attacker missed the first two months of the campaign through suspension. 

1) Loic Remy (Newcastle United): 13/37 goals: 35%

The in-form Frenchman is currently enjoying an eye-catching campaign in attack while spending a season-long loan spell with the north-east giants from Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers, as demonstrated by the striker’s 13 Premier League goals for his new team, which represents a whopping 35% of all of the Magpies’ league strikes to date.
