Here are the top ten key pass makers in the Premier League so far this term…

10) Samir Nasri – Manchester City – 43 key passes

Nasri has been in and out of the City side this year, but still provides a constant creative option for Manuel Pellegrini’s side when he is selected. The Frenchman’s agile, and he can wriggle free from tight situations before sliding teammates through on goal.

9) Tom Huddlestone – Hull City – 44 key passes

Huddlestone has two excellent feet, and can pick out teammates from deep with wonderful sprayed passes. He’s played every match this term for the Tigers, and been a key reason they currently sit comfortably in mid table.

8) Jordan Henderson – Liverpool – 44 key passes

One of the Premier League success stories this term, Henderson’s played in every one of Liverpool’s matches, adding a creative side to his game which was previously based on his outstanding work-rate.

7) Kevin Mirallas – Everton – 46 key passes

Mirallas is exceptionally quick, and an impressive dribbler, but he can also slow the game down and play intricate football in the final third for Roberto Martinez’s outfit.

6) Robert Snodgrass – Norwich – 47 key passes

Perhaps the surprise entrant on the list, Snodgrass has been inconsistent for relegation threatened Norwich. Fittingly, only one of his key passes have led to a goal.

5) Mesut Ozil – Arsenal – 55 key passes

The German has recently received criticism for some below-par performances, and although he’s only registered one assist in 2014, only four players have made more key passes throughout the season than the German superstar.

4) Moussa Sissoko – Newcastle United – 57 key passes

Sissoko is renowned more for his combative approach and physical stature, but the Frenchman also has the passing ability to feed teammates through on goal.

3) Luis Suarez – Liverpool – 57 key passes

Is there anything the Uruguayan can’t do? He’s scored 24 in the league, and made 57 key passes – ten of which led directly to goals, the highest in the top flight!

2) David Silva – Manchester City – 58 key passes

The mercurial Spaniard has exceptional technical ability, which enables him to thread passes through to his fellow attackers. Silva’s vision also enables him to create chances seemingly at will in the final third.

1) Eden Hazard – Chelsea – 70 key passes

Perhaps more of Hazard’s 70 key passes would have been converted into assists had he been playing alongside a regular goalscorer for the Blues. The brilliant Belgian has registered seven assists so far, and has easily been Chelsea’s most productive attacking force this term.
