Arsenal Flop Begs Arsene Wenger To Play Him In The Premier League Title Run-In

Dane’s contract expires this summer.

Out-of-favour Arsenal front man Nicklas Bendtner has pleaded with Gunners head coach Arsene Wenger to give him some game time between now and the end of the campaign to try and boost the north London club’s fading hopes of winning the Premier League, according to reports in the Daily Express.

The misfiring Denmark international has once again largely found himself surplus to requirements at the Emirates so far this season, with Bendtner spending more time warming the substitutes’ bench than actually playing.

As a result,  Bendtner has been restricted to just the 14 matches in total this season for the north Londoners, during which time the 26-year-old has managed to register two goals and one assist in total, including just two strikes in his nine Premier League outings for the club.

However, the Dane has now pleaded with Wenger to trust him between now and the end of the campaign, telling the experienced French trainer: “All I want to do is play.”

But with the attacker’s contract at Arsenal now set to run out on June 30, the odds are that the player may now have played his final game for the Gunners.
