Chelsea v Tottenham Hotspur Key Battles:

Cesar Azpilicueta v Andros Townsend

Spain international right-back Cesar Azpilicueta has been so effective playing as a makeshift left back for the Blues so far this season that Ashley Cole has been forced to spend most of the campaign warming the substitutes’ bench, with the former Marseille defender set to keep his place in the side once again for the visit if Spurs on Saturday.

And the man that Azpilicueta will be facing in west London is England winger Andros Townsend, a player with a bit to prove to the watching public at large after missing out to Liverpool wide man Raheem Sterling for England’s friendly international with Denmark at Wembley in midweek.

However, expect the Tottenham flyer to be all pace and directness when coming face to face with his opposite number in what is set to be a fascinating head-to-head battle.
