With Jose Mourinho able to select from a virtually fully fit squad, here’s the side we reckon he’ll go for today…

GK) Petr Cech

As he has done all season, the Czech stopper will continue between the sticks – as he continues to try and prove to his manager he’s a better option than currently on-loan Thibaut Courtois.

DR) Branislav Ivanovic

Ivanovic has a knack of scoring in big games, and few would bet against him arriving with a crucial effort against Spurs.

DC) Gary Cahill

The exceptional form of Cahill alongside club captain Terry has made him the leader of England’s defence. He can expect some difficulties against Emmanuel Adebayor today, however.

DC) John Terry

Although he started for Brazil midweek against South Africa, David Luiz can’t get in the side right now because of how well Chelsea’s English centre-backs are playing. Terry’s probably been the best defender in the country so far this season.

DL) Cesar Azpilicueta

Ashley Cole would like a start today, but we don’t think he’ll get one. Azpilicueta looks accustomed to the role now, and provides the Blues with an attacking option up the left as well.

MC) Ramires

Ramires is one of Mourinho’s most used players, thanks to his wonderful midfield engine and box-to-box qualities. He will roam, while his Serbian partner Matic will sit.

MC) Nemanja Matic

With his huge physical presence and impressive technical qualities, Matic is the perfect Premier League midfielder.

AMC) Oscar

The Brazilian didn’t play exceptionally last weekend against Fulham, but he provides a more natural no.10 option than Willian, so with Andre Schurrle surely keeping his place on the right – we think Mourinho will stick with his regular central playmaker.

AMR) Andre Schurrle

With doubts being cast over his long-term Chelsea future, Schurrle bagged an excellent hat-trick in just 17 minutes against Fulham last weekend. As a result, he’s surely earned his place in the starting lineup today.

AML) Eden Hazard

The world-class Belgian is Chelsea’s top scorer this term with 12 Premier League strikes, and he was at his creative, mercurial best versus Fulham last time out.

FC) Samuel Eto’o

Mourinho has admitted that he prefers playing Eto’o than Torres at Stamford Bridge, and with this being a Chelsea home fixture, it looks like the legendary forward will be given the nod.
