Blow for Gunners as Ian Broomfield rejects Emirates Stadium switch.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has persuaded scout Ian Broomfield to reject Arsenal and return to White Hart Lane, according to the BBC’s Ian Dennis.

The news was backed up by the Daily Express.
Broomfield was a without a club after resigning from QPR and looked set to join Arsenal last week, telling the Daily Mirror: “The opportunity to work for Arsene Wenger at one of Europe’s top clubs, like Arsenal, was too good to turn down.”
He was even allocated a seat for the Gunners’ Champions League clash with Bayern Munich earlier this month.
However, in a surprising turn of events, the former Leeds United, Aston Villa and Portsmouth scout looks set to return to the white half of North London.
Harry Redknapp brought Broomfield to Spurs in 2009 and he was reportedly influential in the signings of the likes of Luka Modric, Sandro, Jan Vertonghen, Younes Kaboul and Kyle Walker.
He left to join Redknapp at Loftus Road when Andre Villas-Boas was appointed Spurs boss in summer 2012.
Following an injury-plagued playing career, Broomfield spent more than a decade working for the Criminal Investigation Department on over 30 murder cases. He began scouting in his spare time and has since amassed 25-years experience.
