Ahead of this evening’s Champions League fixtures, we look at ten European superstars still in this year’s competition, who could be moving to the Premier League this summer…

10) Julian Draxler – FC Schalke to Arsenal (The Metro)

Draxler could have joined the Gunners in January, but Arsene Wenger is expected to go back in for the prodigal German attacker this summer. The 20-year-old is phenomenally talented, but would likely command a very large transfer fee.

9) Diego Costa – Atletico Madrid to Chelsea  (The Daily Star)

Chelsea are almost certain to sign a top notch forward in the summer, and only Luis Suarez and Cristiano Ronaldo have score more league goals so far this term than the recently capped Spanish international. Costa is extremely powerful and works very hard, and would seemingly suit Jose Mourinho perfectly.

8) Alvaro Morata – Real Madrid to Arsenal (The Metro)

The Gunners have been quoted £25m for the 21-year-old Spanish hotshot, despite the fact he’s only been given one La Liga start this season. His 13 goals in 12 Spanish Under-21 appearances though outlines his wonderful talent.

7) Edinson Cavani – PSG to Manchester United (The Mirror)

If Robin van Persie leaves Old Trafford, David Moyes could potentially move for the brilliant Uruguayan Cavani. The striker has had to content himself with a place on the right in France, due to the form of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and would definitely prefer to be deployed centrally. He cost PSG £57m last summer though, so his signing would likely break the current £50m British transfer record.

6) Mario Mandzukic – Bayern Munich to Chelsea (The Guardian)

With Robert Lewandowski joining Bayern, Chelsea could take advantage and snare Mandzukic, who is likely to drop down Pep Guardiola’s pecking order. The Croatian is extremely powerful and a very good finisher, and would provide an alternative striking option to Diego Costa.

5) Henrikh Mkhitaryan – Borussia Dortmund to Liverpool (talkSPORT)

The Armenian international almost joined Liverpool last summer, but instead chose to join the Bundesliga giants. He arguably hasn’t hit the heights expected of him though, and Liverpool could try and sign the attacking midfielder for a second consecutive year.

4) Max Meyer – FC Schalke to Chelsea (The Express)

Another Schalke wonderkid linked with a move to England, Meyer is seemingly following in the footsteps of Draxler. Chelsea are reportedly interested, although with their wealth of attacking midfield talent, it doesn’t seem like Meyer is really needed at Stamford Bridge.

3) Joel Campbell – On loan at Olympiakos, back to Arsenal

Campbell is already on the books at Arsenal, and earned the attention of all Gunners fans with a brilliant curling goal against Manchester United in the last 16 first leg recently. If he carries on playing so well, Arsene Wenger may feel he deserves a chance at the Emirates next term.

2) Arda Turan – Atletico Madrid to Manchester United – (The Metro

Turan’s agent has confirmed that an English club, thought to be United, has made an offer for his client’s services. The bearded Turkish winger has exceptional feet, and is capable of beating his man as well as linking up play with clever passes. He would be a huge improvement on the likes of Ashley Young, Nani and Antonio Valencia.

1) Toni Kroos – Bayern Munich to Manchester United – (The Daily Mail)

The German midfielder is one of the best passers in European football, as he proved when he completely bossed Arsenal at the Emirates recently. The player has admitted a move to England is a possibility, although the Champions League holders will no doubt be keen to hold on to the excellent playmaker.
