Diego Costa (Atletico de Madrid)

The new Spain international is currently on fire in front of goal for the high-flying Liga outfit, and with a much-publicised buyout clause worth a reported £37.5m, the Gunners should break the bank in order to try to lure the attacker to north London next season.

Loic Remy (Queens Park Rangers)

The France international has already proved his short time in England that he is a proven goalscorer in the Premier League and with the west London club set to offload the player this summer for a cut-price feel, this is a striker Wenger should snap up.

Romelu Lukaku (Chelsea)

Just where would the north Londoners be sitting in the Premier League right now had they had the powerful Belgium forward playing up front for them all season? Well, the Gunners could do far worse than to make their arch rivals an offer they cannot refuse this summer for the youngster.

Jay Rodriguez (Southampton)

What an outstanding campaign the new England international has had so far, with the front man having been a revelation on the road for the Saints, where only Daniel Sturridge has netted more times among other Three Lions players that he has.

Robin van Persie (Manchester United)

The word on the street is that the former Arsenal captain is desperate to quit Manchester United at the end of the season and move back to the Emirates, where surely the prolific Dutchman would be welcomed back with open arms by the Gunners fans?

Edinson Cavani (Paris Saint-Germain)

Again, much as with RVP, rumours have been rife in recent weeks suggesting that the Uruguay international has become disillusioned with life at the Ligue 1 champions and so wants to quit the French capital this summer, and if that is the case then Wenger should move heaven and earth to land the goal machine.

Christian Benteke (Aston Villa)

A player that the north Londoners have looked at many times in the past, and one who has both the physique and skill to be a huge success up front at the Emirates were Arsenal to fork out the £25m needed to make Villa part company with their Belgium star.

Antoine Griezmann (Real Sociedad)

The exciting France international has been attracting the attentions of some of Europe’s biggest-name clubs of late on the back of what has been a hugely impressive campaign in front of goal, and Arsenal could do far worse than trying to lure the forward to the capital this summer.

Eden Dzeko (Manchester City)

The tall, but effective, Bosnian looks like departing Eastlands come the end of the campaign, and with the striker wanting to remain in the Premier League, a switch to the Emirates could very well suit both parties ideally.

Mario Mandzukic (Bayern Munich)

With the highly rated Croatia international now expected to leave the Allianz Arena when the summer transfer window reopens for business on July 1, Wenger should waste little time in attempting to persuade the forward to try out a new challenge in his career in north London next season.
