Eliaquim Mangala – FC Porto

Eliaquim Mangala has been linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer as Moyes has sent trusted scout Robbie Cooke to watch the 23-year old defender, who also wanted by neighbours Manchester City.

Mangala has a release clause of £38million, and is seen as a replacement for Nemanja Vidic.

Luke Shaw – Southampton

The newly capped England international has had a £30m price tag slapped on him by the south coast club as they are aware of how much interest he has generated since breaking into the first team.

With Patrice Evra looking ever more likely to head for the Old Trafford exit Moyes is keen to bring a player in capable of making the left-back slot his own for the next decade.

Paul Pogba – Juventus

IT wouldn’t be the first case of creative economising we’ve seen from a Premier League side this season, but the former United youth product has gone on to become one of the world’s most valued young players in just two short years.

Juve has foreseen this and slapped a hefty price tag on him as they are reluctant to lose him.

Arturo Vidal – Juventus

Like Pogba, Vidal is wanted as part of an extensive midfield overhaul and his all action displays in the middle for the Italians have also made him one of Europe’s hottest properties.

Passing, dribbling, vision and shooting, the Chilean has it all. However, Real Madrid are also keeping tabs on his situation and could be tempted to make their own move as they look to rejuvenate their own squad.

William Carvalho – Sporting Lisbon

The young Portuguese star has seemingly come from out of nowhere to garner some serious interest from overseas in their latest prodigious talent.

United are hoping that previous ties to Sporting can work in their favour after bringing Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani from the Lisbon giants.

Toni Kroos – Bayern Munich

United were heavily linked with a move for the 24-year-old during the January transfer window only for a deal to not materialise.

However, armed with a transfer war chest Moyes will make a concrete return for the playmaker this summer to add some much needed class to his attack.

Marco Reus – Borussia Dortmund

Like the other names on this list, the German international will command a fee in excess of £30m, as his performances this year have earned him a considerable amount of admirers.

However, Dortmund will be reluctant to let him go as their squad has been harvested by Bayern Munich over the last two years, so United will need to conjure something special to convince them to let him go.
