5. Daniel Agger – Liverpool

The Dane is no longer an automatic starter at Anfield and competition for places could increase further if the Reds bring in a new centre half (Jan Vertonghen?) in the summer. There is likely to be plenty of interest in the 29-year-old from rival Premier League clubs but a reunion with Rafa at Napoli seems the most likely outcome.

4. Bacary Sagna – Arsenal

Manchester City have made the first move for the 31-year-old but there remains strong interest from Inter Milan, PSG and AS Monaco. Sagna, whose contract expires at the end of this season, is reportedly demanding a six-figure weekly salary to remain at Arsenal and if it’s a final pay day he’s after, a move to one of the French cubs could appeal to the 31-year-old.

3. Edin Dzeko – Man City

The Man City striker is another player in Inter Milan’s sights. Dzeko has scored goals whenever he’s played at City but he’s never been a first team regular and with Sergio Aguero and Alvaro Negredo at the Etihad, that’s unlikely to change any time soon. Next season, he could slip behind Stevan Jovetic in the pecking order and a summer move is a strong possibility.

2. Hugo Lloris – Tottenham

The French goalkeeper has been making plenty of noises about the importance of Champions League football next season and he is unlikely to achieve that at White Hart Lane. PSG and AS Monaco can both offer a place at Europe’s top table to the 27-year-old and both clubs are lacking a superstar between the sticks.

1. Robin van Persie – Man United

The Dutchman hasn’t been strongly linked with a move away from Old Trafford…yet…but there have been plenty of rumours that RVP is unhappy playing under David Moyes. It seems unlikely the prolific striker will stick around in the Europa League (or out of Europe altogether), and a final pay day somewhere like Juventus seems the most likely outcome.
