Old Trafford side to make new approach for long term target.
Man United will once again look to tempt Barcelona into selling midfielder Cesc Fabregas by offering €50m (£41m) for the Spanish international according to VozPopuli.
The claim, spotted on the always excellent Sport Witness, states that Old Trafford boss David Moyes will look to persuade the 26 year old into making a Premier League return.
The former Arsenal man was the subject of previous Man United bids but an improved offer of this magnitude may be considered by the Catalan club.
Fabregas has been a regular in Gerardo Martino’s first team set-up this term though is regularly hauled off, indeed the attacking midfielder has been subbed an astonishing 25 times in all competitions this season.
That said Fabregas has provided a real threat in the final third, scoring 13 goals and providing 13 assists, so one can see why Moyes would look to bring in the World Cup winner to be an ideal signing to best link midfield and attack.
David Moyes appears keen to bring in new additions this summer and the likes of Shinji Kagawa, Tom Cleverley, Anderson, Darren Fletcher and wide-men Ashley Young and Nani may well all be playing for their Man United futures.
