Jose Mourinho has seen the 23 year old Belgian star repeatedly linked with a summer exit in recent weeks with PSG known to be keeping tabs on Hazard but now it seems that the Blues boss’s former employers could be leading the race for the Chelsea man.
Bale has proven a big success in recent months and is seemingly not a player Carlo Ancelotti would consider selling this summer, so perhaps Chelsea’s insistence that the former Tottenham man moves in the opposite direction will scare off the Spanish giants.
Hazard has been Chelsea’s most effective attacking option this season, being both the club’s leading goal-scorer and assist maker with a total of 17 goals and nine assists in all competitions.
Indeed the form displayed by the former Lille man may well have left Mourinho open to allowing Juan Mata to join Man United in January.
Bale has been formed an excellent partnership with Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo in a three pronged attack that has helped Ancelotti’s side to second spot in La Liga and the Champions League semi-finals.
The world record signing has scored 19 goals and provided 15 assists in all competitions in his debut campaign in the Spanish capital.
