High street chocolate chain call foul on copyright claims.
A young boy was denied a personalised easter egg this week as high street chain Thornton’s as they feared infringing on the copyright of Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney.

Jo-anne Scholes, a lifelong Manchester United fan complained that son, three-year-old Rooney Scholes (yes, really) was not able to get his chocolate egg because they feared that Rooney (the real one) would sue upon use of his name.
Jo-Anne also has two cats – Cantona and Berbatov, and a 16-year-old son named Anderson.
You can’t make this stuff up.
