Man United Set to Secure £600m from New Nike Kit Deal

Old Trafford side to net fortune from new deal.

Man United are reportedly closing in on a hugely lucrative kit deal with Nike that could net the Old Trafford club as much as £600m according to Manchester Evening News.

David Moyes is planning on conducting a major squad overhaul and will be handed upwards of £100m to bring in new additions with the likes of Toni Kroos, William Carvalho and Eliaqium Mangala said to be on the Scot’s wish-list.

Without the carrot of Champions League football the Premier League side will hope they can still lure their top target this summer and the finances from a Nike deal will also help cover the cost of not taking part in Europe’s showpiece tournament.

The deal with Nike is set to run for ten years and the £60m a year it will net Man United is almost treble the current agreement they have with the sportswear giants.
