Tottenham & West Ham Linked With £10m Move to Sign Midfielder Alex Song

Barcelona bit-part player Alex Song is keen to return to the Premier League after being told he can leave the Nou Camp this summer according to the Sunday People.

The 26 year old has failed to secure a regular spot in Gerardo Martino’s starting eleven and with just a year to run on his current deal it appears the Calatan giants are keen to cash-in on the Cameroon international.

Everton are said to be interested but Song prefers a move back to London with his agent seeking talks with Tottenham and West Ham.

This source claims that Song is considered as a possible replacement for Sandro at White Hart Lane and at Upton Park as a possible addition Sam Allardyce will pursue if he loses Mohamed Diame.

Barcelona paid Arsenal £15m for Song but will accept around £10m, which is a fair price for a player with a great deal of experience and is clearly a player who can offer a great deal to either Spurs or the Hammers.

Song made 217 appearances for Arsenal before moving to the Nou Camp in August 2012.
