1) Hugo Lloris (Tottenham Hotspur)

The highly rated and consistent France international has enjoyed a fine campaign between the sticks for the north London club so far this season, however, there have been strong rumours of late suggesting that the shot stopper will decide to quit White Hart Lane this summer if as expected Spurs fail to finish in the top four of the Premier League, and with it miss out on qualification for the Uefa Champions League in the process.]

And if that scenario were to play out, then the Reds should move heaven and earth to try to lure the 27-year-old to Anfield for next season to replace their error-prone new No 1 Simon Mignolet.

2) Loic Remy (Queens Park Rangers)

The Merseysiders are going to need more options in attack next season now that they have definitely qualified for the Uefa Champions League for the first time in four years, with the extra strain that will put on coach Brendan Rodgers’s already limited first-team squad at Anfield.

And with the Northern Irishman unable to rely on his current back-up strikers, Fabio Borini and Iago Aspas, Liverpool should try to lure QPR’s experienced France international to Merseyside, with the player’s release clause reportedly valued at just under £10m,

3) Guilherme Siqueira (Granada)

The Reds actually came close to landing the marauding Brazilian left back last summer, only for managing director Ian Ayre to be unable to reach an agreement with his La Liga club over a suitable price for the player, who instead joined Portuguese giants Benfica on a season-long loan instead.

However, with left back still a problem position of sorts at Anfield, the Merseysiders could do far worse than trying to land the 28-year-old this summer.

4) Yevhen Konoplyanka (Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk)

Again, another who Rodgers nearly signed, with the Reds again just failing to agree terms with the Ukrainian giants in the recent January transfer window for the in-demand wide man, but despite reported other interest in the player this summer from rivals Tottenham, Liverpool are still set to follow up their initial interest in the 24-year-old come the end of the campaign, when an offer above £16m is expected to be enough to sign the Ukraine international.

5) Jan Vertonghen (Tottenham Hotspur)

With the out-of-favour Daniel Agger set to leave Anfield at the end of the season to be reunited with his former Reds boss Rafa Benitez at Napoli, then Liverpool’s boss will be in need of a new centre back to join the likes of Martin Skrtel, Kolo Toure and Mamadou Sakho.

And with the north London club’s Belgium international another set to quit White Hart Lane at the end of the campaign if his employers to make it into next season’s Champions League, then Rodgers could do far worse than tempting the 27-year-old north to Anfield to replace Agger.
