GK: Mark Schwarzer

The veteran Aussie will continue to cover between the sticks for injured No 1 Petr Cech, with the experienced Czech Republic set to be sidelined for the next three months with the dislocated shoulder he picked up against Atletico Madrid recently.

RB: Branislav Ivanovic

The powerful Serb has been a model of consistency at the back for the west London club so far in this campaign.

CB: John Terry

The experienced central defender made a faster than expected recovery from the twisted ankle he sustained against Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderon to be able to feature against the Spaniards in the second-leg clash at Stamford Bridge last Wednesday and after coming through unscathed, the skipper will now line up against Norwich this weekend.

CB: Gary Cahill

The England international was selected in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year recently, and with good reason too after producing a near-faultless campaign at the back for the west Londoners.

LB: Cesar Azpilicueta

The versatile Spaniard is expected to revert back to his less familiar left-back role for the visit of the struggling Canaries to Stamford Bridge this weekend in place of veteran full-back Ashley Cole.

DM: Nemanja Matic

The Serbia international will be recalled to the west London club’s starting lineup after being cup tied for Wednesday night’s Uefa Champions League semi-final second-leg clash with Atletico Madrid.

DM: David Luiz

Expect the shaggy-haired Brazilian holding midfielder to team up alongside Matic in front of the Blues back four against Norwich.

CM: Andre Schurrle

And the third man in the home team’s narrow midfield will be the all-energy Germany international after the wide man only featured as a second-half substitute in the 3-1 loss to Atleti in midweek.

FW: Eden Hazard

Expect an eye-catching display by the diminutive Belgium playmaker when Norwich City visit the capital this weekend after the youngster was criticised by his manager for not tracking back enough to help out his back four against Atletico Madrid last week.

ST: Fernando Torres

One of the few players to have emerged from Wednesday’s painful loss to the La Liga leaders with any credit, especially with the Spain international scoring the West London club’s only goal of the game against his former team.

FW: Willian

The Brazilian schemer should start on the right-hand side of the Blues’ front three against Norwich, and do not be surprised if the little playmaker catches the eye either at the Bridge.
