Newcastle United will look to sign in-form Swiss international Valentin Stocker this summer according to Football Direct News.
The Magpies are looking to invest in their squad and a move for the FC Basel man would certainly offer the St James’ Park side strength in depth in the final third and would presumably not cost owner Mike Ashley a huge sum.
Stocker may be seen as a replacement for Hatem Ben Arfa who is said to be on his way out having apparently fallen out with boss Alan Pardew.
