GK: Wojciech Szczesny

The Poland international has enjoyed an excellent campaign between the posts for the Gunners and is expected to get the nod ahead of compatriot Lukasz Fabianski to face the Tigers.

RB: Bacary Sagna

The France international is set to play his final ever match for the Gunners against Hull on Saturday after seven years in north London.

CB: Per Mertesacker

The tall Germany international has been a virtual ever present at the heart of the Arsenal back four so far in this campaign and so will take his usual place in defence for the club against Hull.

CB: Laurent Koscielny

Like with Mertesacker, the France international has also enjoyed a near-faultless campaign in defence for the north London club.

LB: Kieran Gibbs

The young left back will complete the Arsenal back line, with the Englishman expected to give the Gunners width down that flank with his attacking bursts into the Tigers half.

CM: Mikel Arteta

The cultured Basque may have slowed up a little of late, but he is still one of the north Londoners’ most important players and is sure to have a key role to play if the club are to finally end their nine-year wait for a trophy.

CM: Aaron Ramsey

The Wales international has just returned from a three-month layoff following a calf injury, but it has not taken the goalscoring midfielder long though to hit his straps again and you would not bet against him netting on Saturday against Hull either.

CM: Mesut Ozil

It has been somewhat of an up-and-down debut campaign at the Emirates for the Gunners’ record £42.5m signing, but having now fully recovered from a recent hamstring problem expect the Germany international to play a key role in this show-piece event.

FW: Santi Cazorla

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will be hoping that the diminutive Spain international is on his game this weekend as the north Londoners tend to play well when their impish creator is in the mood.

ST: Olivier Giroud

Goodness only knows just what a campaign the Gunners would have had without the goals of their lone front man, and they will be desperate for one last big game up front on Saturday from the France international.

FW: Lukas Podolski

Another of Arsenal’s big-game players, with the Germany international set to bring a mountain of experience with him into this meeting with the Tigers.
