The La Liga outfit have just announced that former midfield star Luis Enrique will be taking over from the recently departed Tata Martino in the Camp Nou hot seat for next season and already it is expected that the new man at the helm will make big changes in Catalonia this summer.
And one such possible change could see the departure of Fabregas who only re-joined his boyhood club from Arsenal in August 2010 for an initial transfer fee of £35m, although that may ultimately rise to as much as £30m.
However, despite the 27-year-old having enjoyed an impressive four years at Barca, it is believed that the player will be available to purchase when the summer transfer window reopens for business for any teams willing to fork out £40m, with the Red Devils sure to be interested in such a deal after just missing out on Fabreags last summer.
