Diego Simeone (Atletico Madrid)

The Argentinian is probably now the most sought after coach in world football after his exploits with Atletico Madrid since taking charge of the club in December 2011.

As, in the intervening time the 44-year-old has led the club to a whole host of trophies, including the Uefa Europa League, the Uefa Super Cup, the Copa del Rey, La Liga, while on Saturday night he will lead Atleti in the Uefa Champions League final against city rivals Real Madrid.

Carlo Ancelotti (Real Madrid)

Despite the fact that Los Blancos beat arch-rivals FC Barcelona to win this season’s Copa del Rey in what is the Italian’s debut campaign in charge at the Santiago Bernabeu, the La Liga giants could still only manage a third-place finish in the league behind eventual winners and city rivals Atletic Madrid and Barca.

And should Ancelotti fail to bring home the coveted La Decima title in Saturday night’s Uefa Champions League final with Atleti in Lisbon, then some have predicted he will be given his marching orders.

Brendan Rodgers (Liverpool)

The Reds boss’ stock could not be much higher at present after guiding the Merseysiders to a shock runners-up spot in last season’s Premier League and so a first return to the Uefa Champions League for the club for five years.

And with the Northern Irishman having started his managerial career at Stamford Bridge under Jose Mourinho, the Blues would certainly be interested in seeing the 41-year-old return to west London were the Portuguese to leave the club this summer.

Frank de Boer (Ajax)

The former Ajax and FC Barcelona left back has made an incredible start to his coaching career back at the Amsterdam ArenA, with the Dutchman having now guided the Eredivisie giants to four straight titles.

However, De Boer is known to now want to try out a new challenge in a foreign league, particularly the Premier League, and the west London club would surely be interested in the 44-year-old’s services.

Mauricio Pochettino (Southampton)

The highly rated young Argentinian has really managed to catch the eye since replacing Nigel Adkins in the St Mary’s hot seat in January 2013, firstly guiding the Saints to a 13th-place finish in the Premier League, while last season he went even better after the south coast club ended the campaign in eighth place.

However, if the Blues do want to lure the former Espanyol boss to the capital this summer, then they will have to act fast or else London rivals Tottenham Hotspur may land the 42-year-old first.
