Spain Name 2014 World Cup Finals Squad: Man City Duo Dropped But Chelsea Striker Included

Arsenal, Man United and City all represented in Spain’s final World Cup party.

Spain have announced their 23-man squad for this summer’s World Cup in Brazil.

The defending champions had originally named a 29-man party, but six players have now been cut.

Manchester City stars Alvaro Negredo and Jesus Navas miss out, as do Sevilla’s Alberto Moreno, Real Madrid’s Daniel Carvajal, Juventus forward Fernando Llorente and Athletic Bilbao’s Ander Iturraspe.

England’s Premier League is represented strongly in the final squad, with Manchester United pair David De Gea and Juan Mata being joined by Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla and City playmaker David Silva.

Chelsea duo Cesar Azpilicueta and Fernando Torres have also been called upon.

Cesc Fabregas, who is one of seven Barcelona players in manager Vicente Del Bosque’s plans, shared the below squad picture on Instagram.
