Barca teammate caught on tape.
Microphones have picked up a private conversation in which Barcelona defender Gerard Pique appears to suggest that Cesc Fabregas has agreed a deal to leave the Camp Nou this summer.
Former Arsenal captain Fabregas has been linked with moves to the Gunners, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool.
Speaking to Spain boss Vicente del Bosque prior to a press conference, a whispering Pique was recorded as saying: “[Cesc Fabregas] told me [the deal] is done. He’s already leaving. He told me that it is €33million.”
Del Bosque replies: “Poor president [Josep Maria Bartomeu]. He can’t win for losing.”
Converted, €33m is just under £27m.
