The Stamford Bridge side are seemingly set for a busy summer, here are some suggested moves Jose Mourinho needs to make in order to challenge for major honours.

The 25 year old is set to join Chelsea in a £32m deal and has the physique to prove a real handful in the Premier League and Jose Mourinho will hope he retains the form that led him to score 36 goals in all competitions last term.
Cesc Fabregas
The right man to act as a long term replacement for exit bound veteran Frank Lampard and apparently another player who is set to make the move to the west London side.
303 Arsenal appearances prior to his move back to Barcelona offers Jose Mourinho an experienced attacking midfield option who should work well alongside the likes of Oscar and Eden Hazard in a more free flowing forward thinking Chelsea side in 2014/15.
Filipe Luis
The 28 year old is in the form of his life and whilst he may not be a youthful replacement for long serving left-back Ashley Cole the Brazilian has plenty of know-how and is more than ready to step into the breach immediately.
We fully expect Mourinho to shuffle things at the back, with Cesar Azpilicueta likely to replace Branislav Ivanovic to fill his more suited right-back role after an impressive display as a makeshift left-sided option last term.
Romelu Lukaku
Jose Mourinho doesn’t strike us as a manager who would freely admit his mistakes but his decision to loan out the Belgian last term effectively cost him major honours last season.
The 21 year old comfortably outscored Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and Samuel Eto’o during his loan spell at Everton and is a player who has more than proven himself worthy of a chance to shine in the Chelsea starting eleven.
Tiago
When a player of Tiago’s experience and ability comes available on a free transfer then it’s a chance Jose Mourinho should not pass up.
The Portuguese boss opted to allow Tiago to leave the club during his previous spell in charge, the box to box performer moving to Lyon as part of a deal that saw Michael Essien join Chelsea, and now is the time to welcome the Atletico Madrid man back into the fold.

Fernando Torres
Enough is enough. The Spaniard forward is almost painful to watch, devoid of confidence and a player who has come nowhere near to justifying his £50m price-tag.
It would be best for all concerned if he made a move back to La Liga where he can attempt to re-ignite his flagging career though owner Roman Abramovich will have to brace himself for the prospect of recouping less than a third of the fee he paid for the former Liverpool man.
Petr Cech
Undoubtedly a quality keeper but it’s time Jose Mourinho welcomed in Thibaut Courtois and he can only do that if he offloads the Czech Republic international.
The 32 year old still has plenty in the tank and is one of the most reliable custodians in European football but is too good to warm the bench at Stamford Bridge and can do a great job elsewhere.
John Obi Mikel
Tough tackler is too one dimensional for Mourinho’s needs and a move away from the west London side seems on the cards. Having brought in the far superior battler Nemanja Matic from Benfica in January it seems evident that the Nigerian international is destined to only be a bench warmer if he remains at Chelsea.
Demba Ba
No lack of effort but a distinct lack of quality, the Senegalese forward has a hustle and bustle style to his game which makes him hard to defend against but isn’t a player who deserves a regular spot in Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven and it’s therefore best for the former Newcastle United and West Ham man to move on.
Victor Moses
The Nigerian is so far down the Blues pecking order that there is zero reason for keeping the former Crystal Palace and Wigan Athletic man.
No need also to loan him out yet again, best to take any semi-decent offer for the wide-man as he simply is not good enough for a side with Premier League and Champions League title aspirations.
