Anfield exodus expected this summer…

With Liverpool expected to make serious signings this summer, Brendan Rodgers knows he’ll have to move a number of players on to make room the new recruits.

By shipping out these seven, he’ll also bring in a tidy sum which can be used to buy new players.

1) Lucas

With Emre Can having all but arrived for £9.75m, and Steven Gerrard excelling in the anchorman role, Lucas is all but surplus to requirements at Anfield. it was rumoured in May that the Brazilian is consider leaving Anfield, and we reckon he could easily fetch £12m – considering the fact he’s a full international, is in his prime at 27-years-old, and excels at breaking up opposition possession in the middle of the park.

2) Daniel Agger

Agger criticised Rodgers at the end of the season, after failing to get in the Northern Irishman’s side in the second half of the campaign. Barcelona are eyeing the 29-year-old Dane, meaning Liverpool could surely demands at least £12m for his services.

3) Aly Cissokho

The Frenchman was awful last season on loan, and his loan deal will definitely not be made permanent.

4) Victor Moses

Like Cissokho, although to a slightly lesser extent, Moses failed to impress on loan at Anfield, and will head back to Chelsea, who will no doubt try to sell him permanently.

5) Suso

Suso is very talented, but with the likes of Luis Suarez, Daniel Sturridge, Raheem Sterling and Coutinho all demanding playing time in attacking positions, before we even mention the new arrivals, the young Spaniard will struggle for game time if he stays. Porto are heavily interested in the 20-year-old, and because of his age and ability – we predict a fee of around £6m would be needed for Liverpool to sell.

6) Iago Aspas

Aspas totally flopped in England since arriving last summer, and the best things for both parties would be for the Spaniard to move back to his homeland. He cost Liverpool £7.8m last year, although they’d arguably accept around half of that now.

7) Luis Alberto

Another player who arrived last summer but could now be sold os the young Spanish playmaker. Malaga want to take him on loan, and we see no reason as to why Liverpool wouldn’t accept their offer.
