Real Madrid’s Phenomenal Possible Starting XI In 2014/15, With Liverpool’s Superstar Striker

Luis Suarez and Midfield pair set to arrive at the Bernabeu…?

Chelsea’s brilliant team in 2014/15.

Real Madrid won the Champions League last term, but as they do most summers, Los Blancos are expected to make some mega moves this summer in the transfer market regardless.

Here’s how they could lineup next term if they bring in their world-class targets…

GK) Iker Casillas

Carlo Ancelotti has indicated that the legendary Spanish stopper will be staying at the Bernabeu this summer, despite interest from Arsenal. The stopper will hope to establish himself as the first-choice stopper in La Liag next term ahead of Diego Lopez.

DR) Daniel Carvajal

Carvajal proved last term that he can provide Real Madrid with a consistently barnstorming presence up the right flank last season, despite being only 22-years-old.

DC) Sergio Ramos

Arguably the best central defender in world football, Ramos’ goal in the dying minutes of normal time in the Champions League final a few weeks back brought the game into extra time – before his side scored three more goals past rivals Atletico.

DC) Raphael Varane

It’s time for the Frenchman to be given the regular first-team football his talent undeniably deserves. Pepe is a target for Manchester City, and Real Madrid could accept his departure with Varane waiting in the wings.

DL) Marcelo

The Brazilian provides an outstanding attacking threat up the left. Rumours claim that Chelsea’s Ashley Cole might be signed as backup on a free transfer.

MC) Arturo Vidal

The Chilean battler and self-proclaimed ‘word’s best midfielder’ is the subject of a £41m bid from Ancelotti’s men. He would add drive, goals, defensive contribution and unmatched tenacity to the Bernabeu.

MC) Luka Modric

The Croatian midfield maestro is technically exceptional, and can split open defences with his unbelievable array of passes. With Xabi Alonso ageing, Modric could be given the pivotal creative midfield role.

MC) Toni Kroos

Manchester United were heavily linked with the German superstar, but Real Madrid are now the frontrunners for his signature. He still hasn’t signed a new deal with Bayern Munich – and Real are keen to take advantage of this and secure the pass master. Angel di Maria is available for £40m, meaning Real could fund their two midfield arrivals with the sale of the Argentine.

AMR) Gareth Bale

Bale will be desperate to develop his promising first season in Spain since his monster £85m move, scoring goals in Real’s victorious Copa del Rey and Champions League finals. Undoubtedly, he’ll be part of this potentially breathtaking front three.

AML) Cristiano Ronaldo

Obviously, the world’s best player will continue in the role of the left of Real Madrid’s midfield. For three consecutive seasons, he’s scored over 50 goals in all competitions.

FC) Luis Suarez

The Uruguayan sensation scored 31 Premier League goals for Liverpool, which was only matched in European leagues by Real’s Ronaldo. Ancelotti recently lauded Suarez, although his side would arguably have to break the world transfer record yet again to secure his services.
