The young Real Madrid striker has been tipped to make an exit from the club this summer, with Premier League giants Arsenal said to be hot on hit trail.

However, the Gunners may be set to see their year-long courtship of the striker end during the upcoming transfer window after he told his agent that he either wants a move to Juventus or else he will run down his deal to stay in the Spanish capital until 2015.

Morata’s agent, Juanma Lopez, met with Real president Florentino Perez and told him Morata’s wishes.

“Either I go to Juve or not renew the contract that expires in 2015,” Morata said.

However, Lopez believes that a move to Turin shouldn’t be a problem, despite the Spaniards setting an asking price of £24m for their young star.

The news will come as a blow to both Arsenal and Bundesliga side Wolfsburg, who had also expressed an interest in securing his signature, though they are expected to turn their attentions toward Chelsea hit man Romelu Lukaku instead.
