Done Deals: 10 Premier League Transfers That We are 100% Certain Will Be Completed This Summer

Ten deals you can bet your live savings on!

Fernando – FC Porto to Man City

Man City are ready to pay around £15m for tough tackler Fernando, this despite the fact the Premier League side have a host of defensive midfielders, who is expected to fly to England in the coming days to undergo a medical.

Manuel Pellegrini would appear to have more than enough strong tackling central midfielder with the likes of Fernandinho, Javi Garcia and Jack Rodwell being just three top quality options in this regard.

Fernando moved to FC Porto back in June 2007 and is surprisingly still to win a first senior national team cap and may well feel that a high-profile move could lead to recognition at international level.

Adam Lallana (Southampton to Liverpool)

Why buy one Southampton star when you can use the first to help land a second.

We predict that part of the reason for luring Lambert to Anfield is to help in the club’s pursuit of his Saints team-mate Adam Lallana.

Rodgers has been leading the chase for the 25 year old midfielder for some weeks but there is a good chance that Mauritio Pochettino’s move to Tottenham has led to the Northern Irishman looking to stack things in his favour having seen the north London side edge the Merseyside club in pursuit of several players in the recent past.

Luke Shaw – Southampton to Man United

There is no denying the Saints and England man has great potential and could well be the ideal long term replacement for veteran Patrice Evra, but £27m for an 18 year old left-back? Really?

Shaw has matured into a hugely consistent performer in his second season in the Saints set-up, starting 35 of the club’s 38 Premier League fixtures this season.

Man United would do well to officially sign Shaw before the World Cup gets underway of that valuation could continue to sky-rocket.

Serge Aurier (Toulouse to Arsenal)

This deal has been on the cards for months, speculation becoming rife once the Ivory Coast international was pictured wearing an Arsenal shirt, and Arsene Wenger appears very keen to bring in the Toulouse man to replace Bacary Sagna.

The French right-back has publicly confirmed he is leaving the Emirates Stadium this summer and the FA Cup final win over Hull City was his last for the north London club.

Tiago – Atletico Madrid to Chelsea

With David Luiz and Frank Lampard leaving Stamford Bridge Jose Mourinho has opted for a dirt cheap way to strengthen his midfield options, a free transfer move for a proven talent he knows very well.

The 33 year old Portuguese international is out of contract and ready to return to Stamford Bridge after helping his Vicente Calderon side to the La Liga title and a Champions League final this season.

Tiago spent a season at Chelsea before moving to Lyon in 2005, with Micheal Essien moving in the opposite direction, a decision Jose Mourinho has publicly admitted was a mistaken one.

The battling box to box performer moved to Atletico Madrid in 2010 and made 34 appearances in all competitions last term and could well offer Mourinho further options in the centre of the park.

Remy Cabella (Montpellier to Newcastle United)

The Magpies are closing in on a deal to sign the impressive French midfielder who is in line to replace another French midfielder, Yohan Cabaye, who’s January move to PSG was the catalyst to a shockingly poor run of form in the second half of 2013/14.

Cabella has had an excellent Ligue campaign, scoring 14 goals and providing five assists, and narrowly missing out on a spot in Didier Deschamps 2014 World Cup finals squad.

Alberto Moreno – Sevilla to Liverpool

Brendan Rodgers is finding out this summer that having Champions League football to offer prospective top notch signings is a great carrot to negotiations.

The 21 year old will pen a five year deal and is set for an imminent medical as Brendan Rodgers looks to secure his third signing of the summer.

The Anfield boss has already brought in Rickie Lambert from Southampton in a £4m deal as well as Bayer Leverkusen youngster Emre Can, in a move that will cost the Merseyside outfit just under £10m.

Moreno helped his Andalusian side to a top five finish in La Liga as well as a Europa League crown, making 43 appearances in all competitions.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is seemingly looking for a fresh left-back option with his current first choice Jose Enrique missing most of last term through injury.

Filipe Luis – Atletico Madrid to Chelsea

The 28 year old Brazilian, who is part of Felipe Scolari’s 2014 World Cup finals squad, has had an excellent season at the Vicente Calderon but turned down an improved deal that was offered to him in recent days.

Chelsea are set to trigger the wide-man’s €24m (£19.5m) release clause and will presumably be brought in to replace veteran Ashley Cole, who has left the Stamford Bridge side this summer.

Mario Manduzkic (Bayern Munich to Chelsea)

Croatian is looking for a new club having seen the upcoming arrival of Robert Lewandowski as something of a death knell to his Allianz Arena career and we are fairly certain he is on his way to Stamford Bridge.

Jose Mourinho is desperate to freshen up his strike-force and looks to have deals in place to bag more than just one forward this summer.

Diego Costa – Atletico Madrid to Chelsea

This deal appears to have been ‘agreed’ for weeks now and it does seem that the Brazilian born Spanish international is set to join Chelsea in a £32m deal, with a medical also said to have been passed by the 25 year old.

Costa has the physique to make an impact in the Premier League and is a huge improvement on the ineffective options Jose Mourinho currently has to select from to lead his Blues attack. The Atletico Madrid’s 36 goals in 2013/14 led his Vicente Calderon side to a surprise La Liga title and a run to the Champions League final.
