After both winning their opening Group E matches at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil there is little to separate opponents Switzerland and France going into this game.

The Swiss were given an early scare in their first encounter with Ecuador, going 1-0 down before having to rely on a late winner to eventually triumph 2-1.

It was a different story for the French, who put their disastrous World Cup campaign of 2010 behind them to brush aside Honduras in their first tie with a comfortable 3-0 victory.

The winner of this game will top the group and book their place in the last-16 of the tournament along with Netherlands, Chile and Colombia and also will avoid likely Group F winners Argentina in the next round.

These two sides are not strangers to each other, having played 36 times in the past and Les Bleus winning 15 times to the Swiss’ 12.

Despite their varying form in the first match of the tournament, predicting who will triumph in this game will be difficult, although the French do have the added bonus of Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema being in form and having scored twice already.
