Bosnia & Herzegovina will be out of the 2014 FIFA World Cup if they lose to Africa Cup of Nations winners Nigeria in Cuiaba.

Nigeria must raise their game following disappointing display on Sunday night, which yielded a 0-0 draw with Iran.

The Super Eagles will be without defender Godfrey Oboabona, while Kenneth Omeruo, Ahmed Musa and Reuben Gabriel could miss out through injury as well.

Bosnia have no fitness concerns and may well name the same starting XI that began their creditable 2-1 defeat to Lionel Messi’s Argentina.

Nigeria’s main problem is in attack. They have scored just four goals in their last seven matches. Shola Ameobi, Peter Odemwingie and Victor Moses will be looking to improve in that area.

At the other end, the Super Eagles defence will have to keep a keen eye on Manchester City forward Edin Dzeko, who scored 10 goals in qualifying for Bosnia.

Other English-based players that could feature include Chelsea’s John Mikel Obi and Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
