There are fewer more exciting days in the racing calendar than the Saturday at Royal Ascot.

It’s full of fizz, colour, vibrancy, great racing and ample amounts of punting possibilities.

There are six races for punters to get stuck into on Saturday and as with all racing at the Royal meeting, it brings with it some huge betting opportunities. Around this time of year I’m always inundated with requests for tips on the Saturday for Royal Ascot.

So instead of replying to each and every one of those, I will be sending them this link to access the gold.

The Chesham Stakes (2:30) looks as tricky as ever with 15 two-year-old fillies going to post all jammed packed with potential and big hopes from their connections.

The markets have decided to place Dick Withington at the head of the betting, who is trained by Aidan O’Brien, the man that won the Ascot Gold Cup earlier in the week.

He’s got a strong chance here and if you can get any a price around the 2/1 I would recommend getting on.

Next up is the Duke of Edinburgh Stakes (3:05) and Hamelin looks a good thing for jockey James Doyle while the Hardwicke Stakes looks a matchup between stablemates Hillstar and Telescope but I’d be more inclined to back another at a good each-way price.

Dandino has strong form at Ascot and will relish the continued drying ground conditions for trainer Marco Botti. At 8/1, he’s a corking each-way bet.

The day’s feature is the Diamond Jubilee Stakes, which is the top race for the sprinters that race over six furlongs.

This year’s renewal doesn’t have the strength of depth of usual years, therefore those at the top of the market should have this between them.

The horse that needs to be backed is Aljamaaheer for trainer Roger Varian, who has had his string in good nick this week and rocketed in a winner on Friday in the opening race.

Aljamaaheer can be backed around the 9/2 mark and that is a price to take very seriously.

He is very unexposed at six furlongs having made his name as a miler, winning the Summer Mile last season and racking up very good placed efforts in the Lockinge Stakes and Queen Anne.

Varian is confident he can transfer those skills to sprinting and at the prices he is the bet of the day material.
