Barcelona are seemingly ramping up their pursuit of Liverpool striker Luis Suarez with the Daily Star claiming that the Nou Camp side are set to launch a massive bid for the Anfield star.

Incoming Nou Camp boss Luis Enrique is willing to offer £56m plus £25m rated Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez in exchange for the Uruguayan and if Suarez makes it clear he wants to leave Merseyside for the Catalan giants then such an offer would be hard to turn down.
Sanchez’s first team chances are already limited by the likes of Neymar and Pedro and should Barcelona sign Luis Suarez then his future at Barcelona would be uncertain and as such would be all the more likely to consider a move to the Premier League.
The former Udinese man had his most productive Barcelona campaign to date in 2013/14, netting 19 goals in 27 La Liga starts, but has nonetheless been strongly linked with an exit with incoming boss Luis Enrique keen to re-shuffle his squad.
Suarez finished last seasons as the Premier League’s top scorer by some distance, registering 31 goals in 33 appearances and only Steven Gerrard provided more top tier assists in 2013/14.
