Manchester United striker Robin van Persie paid a glowing tribute to departing defender and captain Nemanja Vidic, admitting he is one of his best friends in the game.
The Serbian centre-back has an agreement in place to join Inter Milan on a free transfer next season after eight fantastic years at Old Trafford, and van Persie took the opportunity to give a great insight into the 32-year-old’s personality and their friendship.
