Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is in Brazil currently, to wrap up deals for £30m rated AC Milan owned Italian Mario Balotelli, and £28m rated Fiorentina owned Colombian Juan Cuadrado.

On top of this, Arsenal are likely to bring in a new right-back and a new holding midfielder as well.

While  deals are in preliminary stages, Arsenal’s potential lineup including the quartet will undoubtedly excite Gunners ahead of 2014/15.

Here’s how it could look if the Gunners splash the rumoured cash…

GK) Wojciech Szczesny

Wenger trusts his Polish no.1 implicitly as the first choice, but Mexican stopper Guillermo Ochoa could arrive as backup with Lukasz Fabianksi departing to Swansea.

DR) Serge Aurier

The Toulouse man excelled in France last term, and is doing so again with Ivory Coast at the World Cup. He’s expected to complete an £8m move to the Emirates, to replace stalwart right-back Bacary Sagna.

DC) Per Mertesacker

The giant German is excellent in the air, and will likely take the captaincy armband ahead of next term – with Thomas Vermaelen likely to depart.

DC) Laurent Koscielny

Alongside Mertesacker, the Frenchman performed equally superbly last season, except from in the big matches. If the pair can sort out the form in crucial games, Arsenal will be right up there at the end of the season.

DL) Kieran Gibbs

The left-back rarely let anyone down last season, and with Nacho Monreal in reserve, Arsenal have solid options in this position. Gibbs could force his way into the England squad with a strong season for the Gunners.

MC) Aaron Ramsey

The Welshman was probably Arsenal’s best player last term, and he deserves the prominent central midfield role his talent deserves. Ramsey can score, create, tackle and pass – and Jack Wilshere will do well to get game time when everyone’s fit.

MC) Sven Bender

It’s likely that Arsenal will look to bring in a new holding midfielder, with Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini arguably not at the top, top level required at this moment in time. Borussia Dortmund midfielder Sven Bender is tenacious, and would enable the likes of Ramsey and Wilshere to get forward.

What’s more, Bender’s recently played up a potential move to England.

“I really like English football. Outside of the Bundesliga, it would fit my style of play best,” the German told Kicker magazine.

AMR) Theo Walcott

When he’s fit again, Walcott’s pace and goals on the right is invaluable to Arsenal. Wenger and the fans alike will be desperate for him to return to the form he found just before Christmas.

AMC) Mesut Ozil

The German sensation will hope to properly pay back his mammoth £43m price tag this season, after stuttering through his debut Premier League campaign due to injuries and poor form. Without question though, he’ll be given the pivotal no.10 role.

AML) Juan Cuadrado

Cuadrado is happy on either wing, and can even perform to a high standard at wing-back. His dribbling is a primary strength, and although the potential £28m fee seems pretty steep, his pace and dribbling ability on the wing would maximise Ozil’s passing.

FC) Mario Balotelli

With Olivier Giroud in rotation, or possibly even in tandem, Balotelli’s arrival would add genuine, unadulterated firepower to the Arsenal front-line. His talent is unquestionable, and if there’s anyone who can hone the maverick’s ability properly, it’s Wenger. his potential fee is mooted at £30m.
