The Spanish champions are apparently desperate to bring Cazorla to the Vicente Calderon, but are working to a strict budget that would see them need to sell before they would be able to buy.
Even with Diego Costa’s move to Chelsea all-but-complete Atletico will still require further funds if they are to bring in new players this summer.
And now according to reports in Spain it is the Turkish international winger that will be shipped out in order for the club to make an approach for Cazorla, despite him playing a key role in the club’s league title victory last term.
Turan has a £33m release clause in his contract, and even if Atletico have to compromise on that figure a little, they know it will be more than enough to offer the £18m for Cazorla.
