The players from the continent who could be strutting their stuff in England.

As the current 2014 World Cup in Brazil has proven, South America is a hotbed for talented footballers and many of them are being linked with a transfer to the Premier League this summer.

Here are the top 10:

10. Enner Valencia, Pachuca

This striker was little known outside of South America and Mexico before the World Cup, but after scoring all three of the Ecuadorians’ goals that has changed.

With two goals to his name already at the World Cup this Porto striker is earning himself a glowing reputation on the international as well as domestic stage.

5. Alexis Sanchez, FC Barcelona

For Chile the Barca ace is a leading light and was arguably their best player during an impressive World Cup campaign, but is apparently unwanted at the Nou Camp.

Both Brendan Rodgers and Arsene Wenger are keen on Sanchez, although Juventus are thought to be leading the race for the 25-year-old.
